What I'm Listening To...
**Musical Highlights**
This week, my son surprised me with a classic from Queen – "We Are the Champions" It turns out he heard it on the chairlift at Double Runner. It's been our go-to song for our morning rides to school, and its uplifting energy never fails to kick-start our day. If you're ever in need of a pick-me-up, I highly recommend giving it a listen! Check it out HERE!

What I'm Watching...
**Screen Time Gems**
I recently came across an intriguing interview with Alfred Hitchcock on CBC's television series Telescope, hosted by Fletcher Markle. Hitchcock's definition of happiness struck a chord with me: "I think hatred is wasted energy." It's a thought-provoking perspective that got me reflecting on the power of positivity and letting go of negativity. You can watch the interview HERE.

Where I'm Dining...
**Culinary Adventures**
After a fantastic ski weekend, we treated ourselves to a delightful meal at The Rack in Carrabassett Valley. With live music and a half rack of ribs, it was the perfect way to unwind after hitting the slopes. The cozy atmosphere and delicious food made for a memorable dining experience. Check out their website HERE for a peek at the menu and a full list of Music & Events.

What The Kids Are Up To...
**Family Fun Time** Mother Nature blessed us with an incredible weekend at Sugarloaf, blanketing the slopes with 24 inches of snow. We took full advantage of the powder, exploring everything from upper and lower Rookie River to the Bracket Basin as a family. It was a weekend filled with exhilarating runs and unforgettable memories on the mountain!

What I'm Reading...
**Literary Escapes** I've been diving into "Grit" by Angela Duckworth, where she emphasizes the importance of effort in turning talent into skill. One quote that particularly resonated with me is, "Without effort, talent becomes skill and, at the very same time, effort makes skill productive." It's a powerful reminder of the value of perseverance and hard work in achieving success.
